Hi - My name is Isabella and I founded  ‘Project Bell’ 🔔 in order to donate ‘New Beginning Bells’  to radiation centers.  Project Bell is a 501(c)(3) under IRC Section 170.

I created ‘Project Bell’ in 2016, at the age of twelve, after watching my mom go through proton radiation for a benign but life threatening brain tumor. At Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was treated, they had a tradition where patients would ring a bell three times when they completed radiation treatment. This would signify the end of their treatment, hope, and a start to a new life. When the patients rang the bell, everyone at the treatment center, friends and family joined in to celebrate. I saw the impact of the “bell ringing” ceremony on my mother and other patients as it provided a feeling of hope, empowerment and accomplishment.

Learning that only a few radiation centers had bells and after personally witnessing the effect it had on my mother and our family, I decided that all radiation centers should have bells for those going through radiation. In order to raise money to donate the bells, I initially designed, created and sold hundreds of inspirational charm bracelets. I used 100% of the net profits to donate bells to radiation centers across the country. Initially, my goal was to donate a bell to every radiation center in the United States that wanted one.

Since then, “Project Bell’ has expanded in numerous ways.  My sister, Alexa, has joined ‘Project Bell’ and working together the project has flourished. We have not only donated bells throughout the United States, but also have donated internationally.  In addition, we now not only provide bells to radiation centers, but also chemotherapy facilities. Finally, we have created a large following and support bell donations via a combination of bracelet sales and donations made to the project.

Our goal is to raise enough money via selling bracelets and donations to the project in order to donate bells to any radiation or cancer facilities in the United States or globally that would like one.

THANK YOU for supporting us!!!
